Julie McDowell is a painter, wife, mother of 3, and owner of Dandelions and Poppies. She is also founder of the rapidly growing Facebook Group Paint It Forward. The group is a collective of artists dedicated to giving back to their communities. Born in the UK, Julie relocated to Vancouver BC in 2002, where she made furniture her canvas, applying her fine arts skills to the exciting challenge of transforming wood furniture into works of art.
